He is adorable. We were given him as a gift. I didn't know about not washing and drying. His mane felted :( It is a tangled mess and when brushed out it still has a felted consistency. His body did great in the washer and dryer and is still soft. He is a sweet guy but I only found out about the washing recommendations after looking up the brand name when trying to find another one for my little guy. It's hard to have a toy that is hand wash and dry only when it's intended for children.
